Learning
- The UA Distance Learning program works with other departments and units on campus to develop and deliver specialized certificates, degree programs, and individual courses using video, CD-ROM/DVD, and Web technology.
Independent Study
Correspondence
- Independent Study through Correspondence credit courses are available to students anytime, anywhere. Students from high school to graduate school can set their own pace and take up to nine months to complete a course. Any class offered for credit at UA Correspondence may also be taken for personal development or enrichment, for no credit.
Professional
Development
- Professional Development offers programs that train and prepare organizations and individuals in IT and business skills. Programs are delivered on campus or in customized courses at a company or workplace.
Evening &
Weekend
- UA Evening & Weekend is specifically designed to serve working adults, and addresses the educational needs of students who wish to earn a bachelor's degree, but can only attend classes in the evenings and on weekends. B.A. degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS), Communication, Political Science, and Psychology are offered.
Youth
Programs
- Youth Programs - Students in grades 4-12 are introduced to the excitement of a college environment through specialty summer camps offered through UA academic units, including the College of Law, the College of Optical Sciences, the School of Music, and the College of Nursing.
Osher Lifelong
Learning Institute
- OLLI is a member-led organization featuring stimulating, noncredit learning on a university level. Courses are held in Tucson, Green Valley, and Marana.
Learning Centers
- Learning Centers - Outreach Coordinators in Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Yuma counties can assist students planning to complete a degree at The University of Arizona.
Military & Veterans
- Military and Veterans - The University of Arizona Outreach College offers a variety of educational opportunities tailored to fit the dynamic lifestyle of today's military personnel and their families.

Project Management Certificate Program

Professional Education's Project Management Certificate Program gets underway again beginning September 24, 2011. The program consists of seven classes and a final project and prepares students to make efficient use of resources while staying within time and cost constraints. The first class in the certificate series – Project Management Concepts – is the one and only class that may be taken separately. The rest of the classes must be taken as part of the Project Management Certificate Program. View the Program >>

UA Yuma Welcomes First Family Studies Cohort

The family studies and human development program is the newest addition at UA Yuma and has just welcomed its first cohort of five students.

The first cohort of students in a collaborative academic program based in Yuma, AZ share a similar story: Each was devoted to studying at the University of Arizona but also felt a bond so strong to their families and communities that making it to Tucson proved to be difficult. More >>
